Tre giorni dedicati al viaggio in moto, alla passione e alla comunità dei motociclisti
Read the storyMotoexplora is not just about setting off, covering the kilometres and reaching a destination.
It is made of people, roads, encounters and stories that carry on even when the trip is over.
Here we tell what surrounds our trips: the people who dream them up and lead them, the friendships born on the road, a community that keeps meeting up, and the experiences that sometimes become stories and books.

Founder of Motoexplora, a lifelong motorcyclist and traveller.
Motorcycles have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. For more than twenty years I have professionally guided motorcyclists to discover roads, places and people across Europe, the Balkans, the Mediterranean and North Africa.
Over these years I have turned a lifelong passion into my job: imagining trips, building itineraries and, above all, living them on the road together with the people who choose Motoexplora.
And after so many years and so many kilometres I have realised that two things above all remain from every trip: the people and the stories.
The people are those with whom we have shared roads, meals, laughter, mishaps and moments we still remember today. Many of those friendships did not end when we got home: they have carried on over the years.
It is also from this bond that Motoexplora Italia Club was born: a way to keep meeting up and sharing our passion even when we are not on one of our tours.
And then there are the stories.
Before being an author, I am a traveller.
“I am not a writer. I am simply a motorcyclist who, every now and then, puts his adventures on paper instead of telling them at the bar.”
I was writing about motorcycles and travel long before I thought of a book.
Over the years I have published dozens of articles in newspapers and motorcycle magazines. On my trips I often carry a notebook: that is where encounters, emotions, thoughts, episodes and those small moments that rarely fit into a travel programme end up.
In time some of those notes became articles, others stories and, finally, books.
Perhaps this is what the Motoexplora World really is.
Roads that become journeys.
Journeys that bring people together.
People who keep meeting up.
And stories that sometimes end up on the pages of a book.

Every motorcyclist has their bar: the one where you meet on Sunday morning before setting off, and where on the way back you tell the stories of the trip, perhaps a little exaggerated.
That is where the idea for the podcast came from (the name means “Bar-room Bikers”). No mechanics lessons or spec sheets, but what makes a motorcyclist: the urge to discover, to compare notes and to tell stories. Peppe Pagano talks about it with friends, travel companions and guests from the motorcycle world, as you would over a coffee.
“A motorcyclist is a dreamer: he becomes a child again, eager to discover and to tell.”Peppe Pagano, episode zeroDiscover the podcast
