In Valbona and Theth the paved roads have only recently arrived: today the first motorcyclists to go there are among them, before the tourist development of this area changes everything.
The trip crosses the Valbona National Park, the Albanian Alps, and continues in Montenegro between the Durmitor and the Bocche di Cattaro, the southernmost fjord in Europe.
Two countries, one road that unites them.
From the Ostrog monastery, the crossroads of three faiths, to the Assyrian-Montenegrin Cetinje, the hometown of Elena of Montenegro, to Budva, the ancient sea town of the Republic of Venice: each stage tells a different story.
An itinerary alternating mountain corners, a river ferry on the Drin River and the Adriatic coast, for those looking for a corner of Europe still off the beaten track.
